The Nancy Oldfield Trust was founded by Richard Kenyon as
a charitable trust in memory of his parents in 1984 and is
based in Neatishead on the Norfolk Broads.
The Trust offers and teaches both water and land based activities
for people of all ages who are disadvantaged or who have disabilities
that are physical, mental or emotional, temporary or permanent.
Arrangements can be made for them and their carers to come
to the Centre on a day/part day basis or for a residential
visit.
A wide range of disabilities are catered for including:
arthritis, cerebral palsy, hearing impairments, Down's syndrome,
multiple sclerosis, personality disorders, visual impairments,
challenging behaviour, depression, epilepsy, muscular dystrophy,
and schizophrenia.
It is the only Centre of its kind in the Eastern Region.
